  50. Just a well-wisher18 July 2011 at 18:56

The latest two posts on the Live Life then Give Life FB page are fabulous:

15.07.11 - Kirstie is doing well and the doctors are pleased with her progress. She is now only requiring the support of a NIV (non-invasive ventilator) called a c-pap, and it looks like she might be moved out of ICU and onto the ward on Monday!

16.07.11 - Kirstie is doing fantastically at the moment according to the latest update from Stu: "i got to spend the afternoon with kirstie today and well shes ten times better again today she came off the c-pap and started using her nasal specs and 5ltrs of O2 which was then taken down to 2 ltrs because she was doing so well. She is now just waiting for a bed on the other ward now as she is 'TOO WELL' to be in ITU now cant believe im saying that after the last two weeks. she has also seen some of your posts and is very grateful for your support. Thankyou all update soon, Stu"

  51. This is the best news ever and proves He was watching over you Kirstie. Thoughts and love to the donors family. Organ donation is truly the most wonderful selfless thing and it is comforting to know a small part of the doner has given the gift of life to a fellow human being in need, RIP to the doner and Kirstie I know you will, but live your life to the fullest for the doner as well as yourself xx
