Treading on toes

Well, I had what I though was a good day, but its turned bitter on me. I have so much I want to do with my business but tied to loyalty's I can't. I'm stuck, restricted. Do I cut the ties and reach for success or do I stay loyal and forever stay in the back ground. I'm not a shrinking violet, I guess everyone knows that, I like to reach for success where ever I can. I push myself to the maximum and try my best to be the best at whatever I do.

People say theres no friends when it comes to business and I guess if you want to be successful thats true, but is it in my nature to stamp on people to come out top? No. So I guess this means I'm stuck in the shadows. Trying to scramble any tiny bit of success I can. This is one of the reasons I wasn't sure if I wanted back in on pole. I love it and but I can't do it how I want. Iv booked my etm and now I'm wondering if theres any point as I'm not even sure of what use it will be to me when I'm stuck in the rut I'm in.

Frustration doesn't even cover it. I'm angry, I'm annoyed, I feel like iv been backed into a corner to battle my own conscience and drive for success.

I guess my conscience has already won.

Some times this is why I wish I lived in a bigger city, where theres room for competition and i don't feel like I'm treading on toes.

  2. Kirsty we all have the power within us to succeed at whatever we choose to do, there's treading on toes or being totally upfront truthful & honest moving forward with empathy compassion & decorum. Move forward openly, don't react to any provocation. Remember honest competition is healthy competition as it makes you strive harder for success. If your competitors are intimidated or unnerved by your positive progress, that is their insecurity not yours. Would anyone really deny somebody success, it's our fears & expectations that hold us back. Go for it Girlie show the world what you can do! xx

Don't push yourself too much, because you can only do so much as a human being.

  4. I think, given what you have achieved over the last year, you have shown that you have the power to achieve anything you want.
I am a firm believer that you can do anything, if you put your mind to it. and bravery is not something you are lacking either.

My vote goes, to taking a chance, as life is about chances and if things dont go to plan, I am pretty sure you will still make the most of it.

That being said, I have no idea on bussiness type stuff, but what about adjusting your market a little, perhaps places like etsy and custom orders, if I am picking things up right.

  5. I'm not sure at all what business you're referring to - pole lessons? But sometimes it's obvious to customers who the "real" talent is and they will act accordingly. I say think of those people who want to learn and benefit from you and focus on them, not on the person who seems to be holding you back by making you feel guilty for success. You didn't come this far to fade into the background now. If you can go through this transplant then you can do anything!! (this is coming from someone who is terrified of transplant).

  6. Success doesn't have to mean competing or climbing over others. It can be done in such a way that everyone you interact with will benefit.

Can I suggest you might be interested in some of Croz Crossley's videos on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/user/croztalks and also some of his free PDF E-books (as well as The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles which you can also download for free). Unfortunately there are alot of charlatans in this business (naming no names) but Croz is in my opinion the genuine article.

  7. Kirstie do not be intimidated by others if there are objections to your running your pole fitness classes (I assume that is what is in question)because it only means they are afraid of not only the competition but Kirstie Mills as a person .I say this because of your well earned popularity . You are a strong person ,a genuine person and one of lifes fighters and for that; all you can gain is total respect from the masses so go girl get that business up and running and tread on a few toes if need be .
